    In this course you will learn about yourself, evaluate information about yourself, and re-examine who you are and what you're becoming (e.g. more fearful, irritable, cynical, anxious, or aggressive). Engage in activities that reduce burnout and biomarkers of stress; prevent severe depression, improve anxiety, depression and post-traumatic stress injuries, and improve your physical health.

    During this course, you will learn about job-related stressors, burnout symptoms, organizational and individual factors contributing to burnout, outcomes of burnout, and how to minimize the impacts of stress, reduce mental distress, and prevent burnout.

    You will learn:

    • symptoms of burnout (physical, behavior and mental signs)
    • how examine your thoughts, feelings and behaviors
    • how to study your past experiences, expand self-knowledge, strengthen your identify 
    • how to improve your attention span and performance
    • steps to improve your physical and mental health

    Emma S Kuffar, MPH is Program Director and founder of EC Elevate. She holds a Master of Public Health degree and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology. After twelve years in the health care industry, she developed tools and educational materials that helped people adopt healthy behaviors, recover from trauma, strengthen their identities, and develop coping and reflective skills. She has recently created two online courses.
